We have the tendency to appreciate a well-placed songbird metaphor (or two).

Pipits ...

Though small and easily overlooked, the pipit carries rich symbolic meaning rooted in its behavior, habitat, and understated presence. Pipits spend most of their time walking the ground rather than soaring overhead - a reminder that a meaningful life is not always an elevated one.

And Larks ?

Yes, larks — especially the skylark — are famous for singing while ascending hundreds of feet into the air. Because they sing high above open landscapes, their song travels surprisingly far. The lark teaches that the quietest offerings can travel the farthest, that a single thread of beauty can cross great distances of spirit and thought. In its ascent, we learn that what is lifted with sincerity — a prayer, a piece of art, a moment of reflection — carries farther than we know.

Our driving philosophy is that gentle things can have a long reach and that even a small moment of beauty can open the world.
