Embrace a design aesthetic that gives form to visuals with personal resonance. We create interiors that are serene, storied, and profoundly human. Below are samples of room compositions we've recently created by client request.
The Client Brief:
A client who felt uninspired by her open floor plan wanted a way to introduce focus and intention without adding walls.
Rather than letting the space remain continuous and undefined, the composition carves out a small study area within the larger room. An abstract blue-green mural creates visual separation, giving the corner its own identity without closing it off. A wall-mounted wood desk and integrated shelving keep the footprint compact while providing structure and function. Warm materials and restrained styling prevent the area from feeling busy, allowing it to remain calm and usable. The result is a defined place for reading, writing, or quiet work—proof that even within an open layout, a sense of enclosure can be created through composition alone.

The Client Brief:
A spare room becomes a listening lounge inspired by personal memories.
The client came to the project with a spare room and a few personal touchstones: a love of the color green and warm memories of childhood evenings in the seventies when fondue pots appeared on the table and records spun in the background. Rather than recreating the decade literally, the room interprets those memories through atmosphere — tobacco-toned woods, mossy greens, low lighting, and comfortable seating arranged for lingering. The result is a listening room that feels both personal and timeless, a place to pour a glass of wine, choose a record, and settle in for the evening.

The Client Brief:
This small nook was designed for a client who finds deep pleasure in watching birds move through the landscape.
During winter months, when time outdoors is limited, the space becomes an indoor observation point. A neutral chaise offers a comfortable recline for lingering, while a nearby table keeps binoculars and a journal within easy reach for recording sightings. A handwoven pillow in earthy browns and greens echoes the colors of the natural world just beyond the glass. More than a seat by the window, the nook becomes a quiet reminder of the client’s values: to slow down, notice beauty, and remain attentive to the living world.

The Client Brief:
A client who loves to read but lives in a home where space is limited wanted to carve out a quiet corner dedicated to thoughtful time with books.
Rather than letting the area remain undefined, the composition transforms a small footprint into a reading nook that supports sustained attention. A deep cream chair invites the reader to settle in, while warm agate artwork introduces color and natural texture. Pendant lighting creates a pool of soft illumination overhead, and an acrylic magazine holder keeps the surrounding visual field calm and uncluttered. Nearby, a handmade ceramic pour-over set marks the small transition of preparing coffee before settling into a good text. The result is a modest corner that quietly supports one of the client’s most valued habits: the pleasure of reading without interruption.
